unimaginable tragedy. Mohamed and Nicole Fall were such a case.
Case Breakdown: $18.85M Settlement for Mohamed & Nicole Fall
Witherite Law Group is proud to share a powerful result for Mohamed and Nicole Fall - an $18.85
million settlement that reflects the gravity of what they endured and the strength they have shown.
This case wasn’t just about numbers. It was about honoring the humanity of two incredible people and
fighting for the justice they deserved.
The Collision
In Jefferson, South Carolina, a commercial truck driver, ran a stop sign at high speed and collided with
Mr. Fall’s tractor-trailer. Despite Mr. Fall’s attempt to avoid the crash, the impact sent his vehicle off the
road, where it overturned.
Liability was clear. The defendants admitted fault in their answer. We secured drive cam footage from
the commercial truck and surveillance video from a nearby gas station to confirm the sequence of
events.
The Impact
Mohamed and Nicole Fall came to the U.S. in the early 90s in pursuit of the American Dream. Mohamed
built a beautiful life with his wife, Nicole, and their two kids in Florence, South Carolina. Bringing him
freedom, independence, and stability, Mohamed loved his career as a tractor-trailer driver. He loved
playing soccer, cherished his role as a husband and father, and was active in his local community. Mrs.
Fall was a licensed mental health counselor. She loved her profession and life as a wife and mother. The
wreck changed everything.
Mohamed Fall suffered a devastating C6 cervical spinal cord fracture, leaving him a quadriplegic with
significant motor and sensory deficits in all four limbs. He also sustained a tibia fracture, pulmonary
embolism, and rib fractures. His life changed overnight.
Nicole Fall became her husband’s full-time caregiver while working two jobs to support their family.
Their dreams of travel, freedom, and retirement were erased.
