Truck and car wrecks don’t only damage vehicles; they disrupt families, income, mobility, stability, and peace of mind. To help clients navigate those challenges, Witherite Law Group created the Social Services team, offering support throughout the recovery process.

Across Texas, Illinois, and Georgia our Social Services Coordinators, Gabriela Bruegging and Brittany Webber have become a dependable resource for clients facing uncertainty.

Client Success Stories Across Our Regions

Success Story: Helping Our Client Start a New Job with Confidence

Location: Dallas, Texas

When a former client reconnected for help with transportation to his new job, the team mapped out exact bus routes to ensure he could get to and from work reliably.

Later that week, he mentioned he didn’t have money for a haircut before his first day. Instead of letting him face that worry alone, the team reached out to local barbers, getting him a free same‑day haircut. Our team even arranged Uber transportation to the appointment, removing every barrier between him and a successful fresh start.

Success Story: A Birthday Saved Through Community

Location: Antioch, IL

A client confided that she could not afford anything to celebrate her stepson’s 16th birthday.

The team made calls, and two local businesses answered. Latte Café & Bakery donated cupcakes, and Lovin Oven Bakery gifted a full birthday cake, delivered on his special day.
A small act, but a powerful reminder that families deserve joy even during hardship.

Success Story: Rebuilding Stability and Supporting Emotional Recovery

Location: Chicago, IL

During her assessment, a client shared that her injuries made it hard to walk, and missing out on time with her grandchild was deepening her depression. Our client needed a walker that fits her height and supported her weight but had no way to obtain one.

The team connected with Heart-to-Heart Lending Closet at St. Gertrude Catholic Church, who had the perfect walker available, complete with a seat and storage. They held it for her until she could pick it up.

For our client, this wasn’t just the equipment; it was hope.

Success Story: Creating More Than Relief

Location: Atlanta, GA

While our client was in the middle of financial uncertainty, the team referred to the Clayton County Community Services Authority for utility assistance. The organization not only paid the full amount owed, but they also contributed $370, leaving the client with $40 credit on her account.
