Erika knew that she wanted to become an attorney from an early age. Growing up, she developed a strong sense of fairness and was drawn to the legal field by the belief that everyone deserves to have their voice heard and story told, regardless of their background. That passion continued to grow throughout law school and her initial years in practice where she discovered that what she enjoys most about practicing law is telling her clients’ stories. She takes pride in taking complicated legal issues and facts and presenting them in a way that is clear, relatable, and grounded in common sense to ensure her clients stories are brought to life in a way that never loses sight of the people behind the case.
Prior to joining Witherite Law Group, Erika spent several years in hospital administration with one of the nation's largest healthcare systems before transitioning her focus to litigation. She then gained substantial courtroom experience as a staff attorney for multiple insurance carriers, successfully trying more than 25 jury trials to verdict.
Outside of work she enjoys traveling, attending sporting events, reading, and most of all spoiling her dog, Atticus.
