Bill Dengler’s legal career has come full circle, returning to his roots advocating for individuals injured in accidents and fighting to secure the justice they deserve. He began his career at one of Philadelphia’s premier union-side labor firms, where he represented union members and helped them recover after life-changing injuries. Over the next 25 years, Bill built an impressive career with Zurich North America, serving as a trial attorney and ultimately leading the Philadelphia Staff Legal Office. During his tenure, Bill handled complex litigation across Pennsylvania, gaining extensive courtroom experience and developing a deep understanding of how personal injury claims are evaluated and defended.
In addition to trying cases, Bill played a critical role in shaping litigation strategy at a national level, training professionals and attorneys on effective case assessment, risk analysis, and defense tactics. This unique perspective gives him a powerful advantage today, enabling him to anticipate defense strategies and position cases for maximum impact. Now with Witherite Law Group, Bill brings that insider experience to the firm’s Philadelphia office, where he is instrumental in helping build and expand its presence. He works closely with trial teams to prepare compelling cases and is dedicated to helping clients navigate challenging moments while pursuing the compensation they deserve. Outside the office, Bill is deeply committed to giving back to his community. He regularly volunteers alongside his wife, children, and their therapy dog, Quincy, supporting organizations such as the Ronald McDonald House and MANNA. When he’s not volunteering, Bill enjoys spending time on the golf course and mentoring basketball players of all skill levels.
