Witherite Law Group Donates $28,575 to Fort Worth ISD Family Action Center

Witherite Law Group donated $28,575 to the Fort Worth ISD Family Action Center to support community programs serving Fort Worth students and families during the 2023–2024 school year.

The donation helped fund initiatives designed to address both immediate family needs and students’ long-term development. Supported programs included a leadership camp that served more than 120 students, providing opportunities for participants to build confidence, strengthen leadership skills and prepare for future academic and career goals.

Funding also supported practical resources for students and families, including coat distributions. By helping provide both educational programming and essential items, the Family Action Center works to reduce barriers that may affect students inside and outside the classroom.

The Fort Worth ISD Family Action Center connects students and families with educational support, social services and community resources. Its programs are designed to help families access assistance while providing students with opportunities for personal and academic development.

During an interview with WFAA’s Good Morning Texas, Amy Witherite discussed the purpose of the donation and Witherite Law Group’s commitment to supporting the Fort Worth community. The conversation highlighted how the contribution would help the Family Action Center invest in leadership development while continuing to address the everyday needs of local families.

The donation reflects Witherite Law Group’s continued commitment to supporting organizations that provide meaningful resources in the communities the firm serves. Through its partnership with the Fort Worth ISD Family Action Center, the firm helped expand access to programs intended to create opportunities for students and strengthen support for families throughout Fort Worth.
