Witherite Law Group Supports Easter Meal Giveaway for Atlanta Families

Witherite Law Group and 1-800-TruckWreck partnered with dReam Center Church of Atlanta and KISS 104.1 FM to provide Easter meals to families in the Atlanta community.

During the event, volunteers distributed 550 Easter meal kits containing ham and side dishes. The meal kits helped participating households prepare for the holiday while reducing some of the financial pressure associated with rising grocery and household costs.

Families began arriving early for the Decatur distribution, demonstrating the need for accessible food assistance in the surrounding community. In addition to the meal kits, gift cards were provided to some attendees to help offset other grocery expenses associated with preparing an Easter meal.

The event marked the second consecutive year that Witherite Law Group and 1-800-TruckWreck supported Easter meal distributions in the Atlanta area. Working with dReam Center Church and KISS 104.1 FM allowed the organizations to connect with local families and distribute assistance through established community partnerships.

Holiday food distributions provide immediate support to households that may be balancing grocery expenses with housing, transportation, utilities and other essential costs. Providing a complete meal can help families participate in holiday traditions without shifting resources away from other necessities.

The Easter giveaway also demonstrated the value of collaboration among community organizations, local media partners, volunteers and businesses. By combining resources and community connections, the participating organizations were able to reach hundreds of Atlanta-area households.
