‍Witherite Law Group Donates $20,000 to Minnie’s Food Pantry

Witherite Law Group and 1-800-TruckWreck donated $20,000 to support Minnie’s Food Pantry’s 2024 Christmas Food and Toy Giveaway in Plano.

The contribution helped Minnie’s Food Pantry provide holiday assistance to 548 families and 1,814 children across the Dallas–Fort Worth area. Participating families received holiday meals that included traditional foods and side dishes, while children received gifts selected from their Christmas wish lists.

The donation continued a partnership between Witherite Law Group and Minnie’s Food Pantry that began in 2018. By the time of the 2024 giveaway, the organizations had worked together on the Christmas initiative for four consecutive years.

Amy Witherite, founder of Witherite Law Group and 1-800-TruckWreck, explained why the annual partnership is meaningful to the organization.

“Holiday season is a time for giving, and nothing is more valuable than the reactions we get from the families and children we serve at this event,” said Amy Witherite. “We’ve been sponsoring Minnie’s Food Pantry since 2018 and have partnered with them for this Christmas event for the past four years to provide food and gifts to our neighbors, and we look forward to continuing the tradition.”

The partnership addressed an important need in North Texas, where many households face difficult choices between food and other essential expenses. Holiday meals and gifts can create additional financial pressure for families already managing limited household resources.

Witherite Law Group also supported Minnie’s Food Pantry’s 2024 Senior Citizen Christmas Bash. That event provided catered meals, gifts and raffle prizes to approximately 70 residents from four local senior-living facilities.

Through these holiday initiatives, Witherite Law Group, 1-800-TruckWreck and Minnie’s Food Pantry worked to provide practical assistance and seasonal support to North Texas children, families and older adults.
