1-800-TruckWreck Supports Back-to-School Shoesday Giveaway in Atlanta
1-800-TruckWreck, powered by Witherite Law Group, partnered with KISS 104.1 FM to help metro Atlanta families prepare for the 2024–2025 school year through the back-to-school Shoesday Giveaway.
The event was held at Sole Play in Decatur and provided $100 shoe-store gift cards to the first 200 participating families. Families began lining up hours before the giveaway as parents sought help with the rising cost of clothing, shoes and other back-to-school necessities.
The Shoesday Giveaway was designed to address a school-year expense that can place significant financial pressure on families. A new pair of shoes can help students begin the school year prepared while allowing parents to direct their household budgets toward classroom supplies, clothing and other essential needs.
Gary Saunders of Witherite Law Group discussed the importance of providing practical assistance to families facing higher back-to-school costs.
“People need help,” Saunders said. “We just want to provide some type of outlet, some type of resource to help people.”
The Shoesday Giveaway was part of a broader series of back-to-school initiatives supported by Witherite Law Group and 1-800-TruckWreck. The organizations also planned Cash Register Takeover events at two metro Atlanta Walmart locations, distributing more than $20,000 in gift cards to help families purchase school supplies.
Through partnerships with local businesses and media organizations, 1-800-TruckWreck and Witherite Law Group continue working to provide useful resources to students and families throughout the Atlanta community.
