Witherite Law Group Helps Provide Thanksgiving Meals to More Than 2,000 Atlanta Families

Witherite Law Group and 1-800-TruckWreck partnered with New Birth Missionary Baptist Church and V-103 to provide Thanksgiving meals to more than 2,000 metro Atlanta families.

Held on November 21, the drive-through event distributed approximately $70,000 worth of turkeys to local families. The format allowed participants to receive their holiday meals efficiently without leaving their vehicles.

The 2024 event marked the fourth consecutive year of the annual Thanksgiving food giveaway. Over the course of the partnership, the initiative became a meaningful holiday tradition that brought together community organizations, volunteers and local residents to help families experiencing food insecurity.

The event provided immediate assistance during a time of year when food, travel and other seasonal expenses can place additional pressure on household budgets. By working with established community and media partners, Witherite Law Group helped make the distribution accessible to thousands of Atlanta-area families.
