Robert Teilhet- Personal Injury, Truck Wreck and Car Accident Lawyer in Atlanta, Georgia

Robert Teilhet is a dedicated attorney with a passion for advocating on behalf of those who need a voice. He obtained his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Georgia, laying the foundation for a career dedicated to serving others.

Admitted to the bar in 2000, Robert initially represented school districts, employers, and insurance companies, gaining valuable experience across a wide range of legal matters in Georgia. However, his true calling emerged when he shifted his focus to personal injury and workers' compensation law in 2008. In this capacity, Robert has been a staunch advocate for individuals who have been injured due to the negligence of others or while on the job. He recognizes that these individuals often face challenges in obtaining the medical treatment and income they deserve and is dedicated to fighting for their rights and the well-being of their families.

In addition to his legal practice, Robert has a distinguished record of public service. He represented Smyrna and Marietta in the Georgia House of Representatives for four terms, beginning in 2002 at the age of 28. During his tenure, Robert earned the respect of colleagues across the political spectrum for his hard work, honesty, and integrity. He served as Chief Deputy Whip of the House Democratic Caucus and was a member of the House Judiciary Committee, where he played a pivotal role in shaping legislation affecting the civil justice system.

Robert is an active member of the legal community, belonging to the State Bar of Georgia and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. He has also contributed to legal education as an adjunct Professor at the University of Georgia School of Law. Outside of work, Robert is a member of Northbrook United Methodist Church in Roswell, Georgia.
