Johnquel Neal - Personal Injury Attorney, Truck and Car Wreck Lawyer in Atlanta, Georgia

Johnquel Elaine Neal, a native of Syracuse, NY graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Mass Media Arts, concentrating in Television and Film Production from Clark Atlanta University. While there, Johnquel was a player on the CAU Women’s Basketball team, Honor Society and was President of her class. She then attended The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law where she was awarded the Public Service Fellow Designation and served on law review. She graduated from law school in 2010 and was admitted to practice in Georgia that same year.

Johnquel previously was employed by one of the largest insurance companies in the country where she defended the company and its clients in personal injury lawsuits. Prior to that, she was a Senior Assistant District Attorney with the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office assigned to the Major Crimes Division where she prosecuted Homicides and Serious Injury by Motor Vehicle cases. She was also assigned to the Crimes Against Women and Children Unit where she prosecuted sex crimes. Her other prosecutorial work has ranged from Fraud, Drug Trafficking to other Violent Crimes. Johnquel’s role as lead prosecutor for many jury trials has garnered her many awards for her ability to receive very fast jury verdicts to include within ten minutes. Prior to joining the District Attorney’s Office Johnquel worked in private practice.

Johnquel Neal’s volunteer work has included teaching legal concepts and mock trial techniques to elementary students. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Women of CAU, and the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys. She was inducted into Who’s Who of Black Atlanta in 2017. She has been awarded by The Ohio State University Alumni Association as a “Rising Buckeye” and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. as a “Public Policy Change Agent” for her contributions to the community
